Bucket’s Big Fish Sunday Roast Has Landed!

We don’t always feel like an enormous slab of meat for our Sunday roast, but that doesn’t make us any less of a big fish. At “Big Fish Sundays” at Bucket on Westbourne Grove, the sea’s fight back against the land’s dominion over the sacred Sunday tradition has begun.

There are some things about the Sunday roast that you just can’t mess with: the ritual, the sharing with family and friends …. and the roast potatoes. At Big Fish Sundays you can find all of that and more, and will leave stuffed to the gills.

Serving up whole roasted halibut, baked in lemon and rosemary, and served with crispy rosemary potatoes, Savoy cabbage and honey-glazed carrots, Big Fish Sundays takes the Sunday roast and makes it lighter, fresher and healthier. So you can eat and eat and eat without the guilt. And it’s perfect for sharing.

If that’s not delectable enough for you yet, there are more Sunday classics to enjoy. Bucket’s house Bloody Mary is the perfect accompaniment to the feast, while there’s no better way to finish off the meal than with Bucket’s unbeatable apple crumble.

Bucket is the perfect spot to while away a Sunday afternoon with family and friends. Reminiscent of a weatherworn, rustically luxurious beach club, Bucket offers a warm and relaxed hideaway for all seasons.

The roast is priced by the weight (£6.50 per 100g of halibut, with sides included), and costs around £25-£35 per person, depending on how hungry you are. Most fish weigh 1-3.5kg, but with 36-48 hours’ notice, Bucket can prepare huge fish of up to 6kg for larger groups.

Available all-day Sunday, you’ll be sure to have a new favourite Sunday spot.

Throughout the week, Bucket serves up sustainably sourced seafood by the bucketful in a buzzy, laid-back, do-as-you-like atmosphere.  Bucket was launched by husband and wife team, Georgie Godik Hayward and Adam Hayward, with design, interiors and branding by Patsy Godik.

Bucket is located at 107 Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, London, W2 4UW
