Bijoya with Friends – celebrate at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea, 19th October

Join The Cinnamon Collection’s Executive Chef Vivek Singh and four of his longstanding chefs - Rakesh Nair, Rajeev Kumar, Hari Nagaraj and Sankar Chandrasekharan - at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea on 19th October for a very special ‘Bijoya with Friends’ feast.

The Indian celebration of Bijoya takes place on the last day of the Navratri Festival, and is a day traditionally spent with friends and family, where lavish dinners are thrown with gifts and sweets exchanged to count one’s blessings.

As part of the ‘A Life in Spice’ series celebrating The Cinnamon Club's 20th Anniversary, these five chefs will come together to share their memories of more than two decades of cooking together whilst taking diners on 12-course culinary journey showcasing the talent that has shaped the Cinnamon Collection over the last two decades.

Dishes, never seen before on a Cinnamon menu, include Hyderabadi lamb marag soup with vegetable lukhmi; double-cooked lamb chops with Malabar garam masala, Bengali style fish curry and prawn malai curry with coconut and cardamom, and Lucknowi chicken biryani with burhani raita and an aubergine & fenugreek stir-fry.
