Opening 1st May 2020: Nana Golden Beach, Crete

Resort set to re-open as five-star all inclusive offering

Located on the northern coast of Crete, Nana Golden Beach has long been a favourite with families, and this year, the hotel is undergoing a complete renovation project to upgrade interiors, facilities and services throughout. Previously known as Nana Beach Hotel, the reborn Nana Golden Beach will offer guests an elevated luxury all-inclusive offering as of 1st May.

Having undergone a major refurbishment, Nana Golden Beach will unveil an upgraded new look for the summer season, including significant renovations to the guest rooms and facilities throughout, and a focus on the family experience with a transformed kids club, playground, children-only fun pool, and kids’ activities throughout the week.

Nana Golden Beach will offer guests a variety of accommodation across the resort, including Exclusive VIP 2-bedroom family suites and Luxury open plan family rooms. Guests can also choose from bungalows with a sea or garden view, as well as wonderfully appointed seafront bungalows. All rooms are spacious and open-plan with king size beds and a choice of balcony or terrace as well as floor to ceiling windows, letting natural light in throughout the day. State-of-the art facilities in each room now provide a truly luxurious stay for guests, including walk-in rain showers, and high-quality beds, mattresses and linen to deliver a superior sleep experience.

A hotel built for families, Nana Golden Beach knows how to impress the little ones. Kids will never tire of the options at Nana Golden Beach, which range from the children’s water park, outdoor playground, Mini Club (including Mini basketball and Mini football), evening and daily entertainment, and much more. There’s plenty of space to explore independently, with a private sandy beach and extensive landscaped gardens on site.

When parents want to join in with the fun, they can head to the beach for a game of Giant Chess, challenge their little ones to a game of archery, or learn a new skill together with beginners’ scuba diving lessons for both adults and children at the Scubakreta Diving Centre and PADI school.

Nana Golden Beach will offer guests a range of culinary experiences across six restaurants, from traditional Cretan dishes to international cuisine, ensuring that the whole family’s tastes are catered for. Athina and Thalassa will serve as the two main restaurants, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for an easy family meal, while the four a la carte restaurants serve more specialised menus. Firenze will transport guests to the heart of Italy through its traditional Italian flavours, while Nami offers Asian dishes. For those who can’t get enough of the famous Greek cuisine, Zorbas and Poseidon are the perfect options, with the latter being a fine dining venue. Kids’ menus will be provided at every restaurant, so the whole family can enjoy each and every one during their stay. For a more informal meal, Nana Golden Beach will have a number of bars, including the 24-hour Snack Bar, Kalypso, Veranda, Nautilus beach bar, and Dionysos, which will be an idyllic spot to sip on a cocktail and watch the sunset.

Families need not worry about cash or extra expense throughout their stay, as all restaurants and bars are included in the cost, as well as all land sports activities, and non-motorised water sports. With so many activities to choose from and cuisines to enjoy, Nana Golden Beach is the perfect new all-inclusive luxury option for families this year.
