Top Pet Friendly Hotels Around the World

Setting off on vacation can be tough on pet owners if it means they must leave their furry companions behind. WorldHotels has put together pet-friendly hotels around the world, which do not only offer dogs’ beds and bowls; some of them have even created very important dog packages. The following pet-friendly hotels roll out the red carpet for your furry family members.

The Crawford Hotel, Denver, United States

There is pet friendly and then there is The Crawford Hotel. The Crawford Hotel provides pet amenities for their four-legged guests including a doggie bed, two matching bowls, a bottle of doggie water, dog treats and a bone, doggie waste bags, a chew toy and a Green Spaces card. The hotel also added a new special amenity for pet parents — Furbo. The Furbo Dog Camera and app allows guests to check on their dogs, speak to them, and even toss them a treat while they're away from the room. Furbo has two-way audio and even a barking alert so that guests can be notified when their dog is barking in the room. There is a EUR 45 per night per pet clean-up fee. Unfortunately, all other furry friends will have to stay home, as the hotel currently only allow dogs weighing up to 60 pounds. These restrictions do not apply to service animals.


The Oxford Hotel, Denver, United States

Open arms and full bowls is how The Oxford welcomes its furry friends. All furry friends are welcomed to enjoy the luxuries of the hotel as well. Luxurious dog amenities available to place in-room, including a custom dog bed accompanied with signature Oxford Hotel dog treats, a dog mat and a water and food bowl. Guests simply let the hotel know they will be traveling with a pet and staff will furnish the room with these special items. There is a EUR 45 per pet clean-up fee, per stay.


The Madison Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany

The Madison Hamburg takes pet-friendly to a whole new level. Pets are welcomed with a comfy dog basket, a blanket, locally baked dog biscuits. a food bowl, a welcome letter and a special door hanger. Dogs are allowed on the restaurant terrace as well as in the lobby area of the restaurant and in the bar. In these areas they always find a treat. The hotel charges a pet fee of EUR 15 per day and per animal.


Grand Hotel Savoia Genova, Genova, Italy

Grand Hotel Savoia Genova takes things up a notch: At the hotel, both cats and dogs are welcome. With prior registration, small-sized dogs and cats can share the room with their owners at no extra charge. The “Dolce Vita Dog” offer is designed with the sole purpose of providing a one-of-a-kind experience for four-legged friends for a pet fee of EUR 5. The offer includes a comfortable, soft and colorful pillow, a pet mat, food and water bowls and a special door hanger in order to avoid being bothered. The pets are even allowed in the hotel restaurant, where they will get treated with a water bowl and biscuits while their human companion is having lunch or dinner.


The Maven Hotel, Denver, United States

At The Maven Hotel, staff knows that dogs are part of the family too! Here dogs get greeted with treats right at check-in. The owners get a detailed map locating dog-friendly spots, parks and places in town. There is a EUR 45 per pet clean-up fee. The Maven only accepts dogs; two dog limit per room; 27 kg per dog weight restriction.


Hotel Parc Plaza and Hotel Parc Belair, Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Hotel Parc Plaza and Hotel Parc Belair love dogs so much that they provide a little snack, a carpet to sleep on, a towel to dry their paws in case of rain and a welcome message in which they explain where the closest park is. Luxembourg is a great city for walking, another reason to invite your dog the next time you head to the area.


Hotel Balmes, Barcelona, Spain

Hotel Balmes has the best deal for tourists to discover Barcelona with furry family members. The Stay & Dog package includes a luxury gift set for the four-legged friend. Pets get their own bed, food and water bowls and a selection of toys and treats by Trixie for every play style, consisting of an 18-cm dog disc, two-knot rope, 16-cm vinyl dumbbell, tennis ball on a rope without glass fibers and a resealable bag that's ideal for travelling. The Marmara Hotels are a friend to pets. The hotels simply do not charge a nightly fee or deposit for pet guests. The Marmara Antalya as well as The Marmara Taksim, The Marmara Pera, The Marmara Şişli and The Marmara Bodrum offer special pet beds, and pet bowls free of charge.



Hotel Juliana, Paris, France

Hotel Juliana welcomes dogs with open arms. The hotel provides water and food bowls and a dog pillow at no extra charge.



Grand Hotel de la Minerve, Rome, Italy

Grand Hotel de la Minerve allows dogs, with a maximum size of five kilo per dog, in each room. At the hotel, you won't find pet concierges, treats or doggie room service, but you will find a welcoming community of dog lovers.
