Hotel Café Royal welcomes Eugene Leonard as new General Manager

Hotel Café Royal, part of The Set Collection, is delighted to announce Eugene Leonard as its new General Manager. Leonard joins the property following an impressive 15-year tenure with the Maybourne Hotel Group, most recently serving as General Manager of Maybourne Beverly Hills for three years.

Leonard is a highly experienced professional in the ultra-luxury hotel industry, particularly within the London market. His previous roles include Hotel Manager at both Claridge's and The Connaught.

 

Hailing from Ireland, Leonard is a graduate of the prestigious Shannon College of Hotel Management. His illustrious career has taken him from Ireland to Zurich, Switzerland, and then to London, where he joined the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel. After a stint in St. Andrews, Scotland, he returned to London, embarking on his time with the Maybourne Hotel Group.

In his new role as General Manager of Hotel Café Royal, Leonard will report directly to The Set Hotels’ Chief Operating Officer, Philip Haller. He will be tasked with strengthening the hotels esteemed position as one of London’s premier luxury destinations.
