An exciting step towards the future of Margate Football Clubs's Hartsdown Park as they submit a planning application for a new stadium and 120 bed hotel. The impressive redevelopment plans are able to go ahead as the club bought the ground from Thanet District Council, for £375,000, earlier this month after nearly two years of negotiations, giving them the freedom to expand.

The new stadium plans will increase capacity, along with a new hotel that will offer suitable accommodation for traveling teams, fans and associates. The redevelopment will include other bonuses such as conference suites, meeting rooms, hospitality boxes, eating/drinking outlets, play areas, a new larger car park to the rear and much more. Progress will begin at the end of the season and this will hopefully create a more financially stable environment for many years to come.
