Introducing Ricardo Rosa MD - Outstanding Physiotherapist & Osteopath
The new 5* Longevity Health & Wellness Hotel in Alvor, Portugal is delighted to announce their new physiotherapist and osteopath, Ricardo Rosa. An exceptional therapist in the health and wellness industry, Ricardo is renowned for his ability to quickly identify and correct the origins, not just the symptoms. Guests report immediate relief after only one session with his drug-free, gentle and therapeutic approach.
Longevity Wellness Worldwide are proud to have Ricardo Rosa continuing with them at the new hotel, having worked with the brand for years at their two existing wellness properties. Ricardo promotes to guests that detox, regeneration and osteopathy can improve one’s overall health and wellbeing. A session with Ricardo has been described as memorable and life-changing. Helping the body to heal itself lies at the heart of osteopathy, making it one of the key pillars of ‘Longevity concept by Longevity Wellness Worldwide’ and fundamental to any effective detox programme.
Recognised by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the top 20 therapists and healers in the world, Ricardo Rosa is an exceptional wellness professional. Ricardo is passionately committed to discovering the most efficient therapies to address dysfunctions in the briefest time possible, without the use of invasive methods or treatments that require long term dependency on the healing practitioner.
By removing the barriers that stand in the way of our internal healing processes and systems, Ricardo explains that we can look to promote self-healing, disease prevention and optimal health and wellbeing through Longevity’s detox and regeneration solutions and programmes. These solutions at the new Longevity Health & Wellness Hotel include ozone therapy, juice detox, hyperbaric medicine, colonic hydrotherapy, dental and gum detox and much more.
Using glass as a metaphor for the human body, Ricardo comments ‘Detox is not just a passive physical purification, it is a process of actually looking inside the glass to make a deeper connection with the inner self. It is a journey of self-exploration that will teach us to hear and respect the needs of our own body.’
In 2009, Ricardo earned his physiotherapy degree at the Algarve’s Escola Superior de Saúde Jean Piaget before continuing to pursue academic training in Osteopathy at Escuela de Osteopatia in Madrid. Ricardo has also completed extensive training in sports injury prevention, movement therapy, Kinesio Taping techniques, patellofemoral pain syndrome, orthopaedic traumas, neurological, manual and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
