Hot off of the heels of its recent iF Design Award triumph, leading coffee equipment brand Crem has announced that that its new EX3 series has been named winner of the ‘Product Design’ category at the prestigious 2020 Red Dot Awards.

This highly esteemed accolade is the second design-led award-win that the brand-new EX3 espresso concept has attained having wowed both sets of judges with its innovative design and customisable features as outlined by Anders Bäckström, Field Marketing Manager for Crem UK & Ireland:

“Having been thoroughly and carefully designed from a 360-project approach, this revolutionary new range truly puts the specific needs of the operator at the forefront, both from a technical and design point of view. In fact this new concept is so focused on the design-led desires of operators, that customers can even configure their individual EX3 model, both internally and externally.”

Anders Bäckström,  continues:

“Winning the esteemed Red Dot Award for Product Design further demonstrates the passion and technical expertise that has been put into the creation and launch of the EX3 range. Following on from the iF Design Award at the beginning of the year, the announcement of the 2020 Red Dot Award is testament to the dedication of all involved in the project.

We are truly honored to have received this accolade, especially given the rigorous judging process and competition faced.”

The international design competition, the “Red Dot Design Award”, is based on the principle of selection and presentation. Standout designs are selected by leading experts in the field of product design, communication design, and overall design concepts.

Crem’s EX3 project team, and its close collaborator Nacar Design, will be honored and celebrated together with the rest of the 2020 winners at the Red Dot Gala award ceremony later in the year.
