Hot-Air Balloon Ride

Enjoy a glass of bubbles and admire the beaming countryside while soaring high in the sky in the region of Roussillon, a one hour drive from the hotel. Discover hilltop villages, hidden chateaus, lavender fields, wild sage and other hidden treasures which only a balloon ride can reveal. Crillon Le Brave offers guests an unforgettable opportunity to experience Provence from a new perspective.

Conquer Mont Ventoux by Bike

The striking Mont Ventoux reaches a height of 1912m and is on many keen cyclists’ bucket list, having featured in the Tour De France multiple times. Guests can hire bikes from the hotel concierge and head up Mont Ventoux for a memorable and magnificent ride. The reward will be the view from the top. For those less inclined for an intense workout, enjoy cycling around the hotel’s surrounding alleyways and village.


Prices start from 50 Euros per day for a bicycle and 75 Euros per day for an electric bike.


Explore Provence by Vintage Car

Explore Provence on wheels in your very own vintage car, be it a Mehari, Mini Moke, Fiat 500, 2CV, Triumph or Mustang. Guest will be given an all- important roadmap with suggested local landmarks to discover from hidden gourmet and antique markets, to historic villages such as Gordes and Roussillon. As part of the experience, Crillon Le Brave’s chef Anissa Boulesteix will create a special Provencal-style picnic for guests to bring along for the ride , stopping off at one of the region’s many picturesque points to enjoy.

Prices between 225-800 Euros per day, including the delivery of the car to the hotel.


Provençal Wine Tours

Experience a world-class wine region at Crillon Le Brave, visiting neighbouring vineyards such as Côtes du Rhône AOP Ventoux, Châteauneuf-du- Pape, Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas and Vacqueyras. Set off and meet the passionate wine- growers and sample their exceptional, often organic wines.

Wild Provençal Picnics

Re-discover the pleasures of a picnic in nature with three picnic baskets specially created by Head Chef Anissa Boulesteix using locally sourced products. Anissa will create a Provencal-style picnic menu according to guests’ preferences. Special dishes include salads, sandwiches and pies.

For those looking to burn more energy other autumnal activities include tennis, cycling, hiking, golf, kayaking and local favourite Petanque, which originated from Provence. Crillon Le Brave will close on 2nd November.
