Palazzo Naiadi, The Dedica Anthology property known for five-star luxury in the heart of Rome, has created a series of initiatives to allow guests and locals to discover the secret beauties of the capital within this new post Covid-19 normality.

"We wanted to create unique experiences to be enjoyed outside the hotel, as Rome must be lived to be truly discovered,” says Piero Magrino, General Manager of Palazzo Naiadi. “You need to walk through the alleys of real Rome. Even during this unprecedented time, we want to ensure our guests can see the best of the city, enjoying it whilst feeling safe and protected. We have therefore sought out trusted partners, able to rethink their traditional way of workings. This includes all elements of the experience, from transport to adopting initiatives that allow social distancing. Our aim is to spark our guests’ excitement and emotions through unforgettable experiences in Rome".

Palazzo Naiadi has developed a series of dedicated experiences to allow guests to see the real Rome in all its splendour. These experiences allow guests to experience Rome and discover it in its authenticity in full compliance with the rules of social distancing.

These include:

The Open Road to Rome, a package for 4 people, designed to bring Rome to life in a 4-hour tour on a golf cart, to discover the charm of the capital a living, breathing open air museum.

The driver is a qualified tour guide and will take guests on an unforgettable tour of Rome from via Nazionale to the Monti district with its bohemian atmospheres, on to the Vatican, and finally to the Aventine, with an exceptional view of St Peter’s Basilica.

In response to Covid-19, the open air golf carts are sanitised before and after each tour, a distance of 1m will be maintained at all times between the driver and passengers and hand sanitiser will be offered to all guests for use on the tour. By using an open-air golf cart this allows the pleasures of Rome to be enjoyed whilst minimising close public contact.

A Sidecar Called Desiderio, a tour which offers the charm and Dolce Vita only possible on a Roman Holiday. The sidecar is an icon of design, a powerful symbol of freedom, passion, beauty and love for life.

Palazzo Naiadi has curated a 3-hour tour around Rome, taking in its most romantic places, including Villa Borghese and the Giardino degli Aranci sull'Aventino. The tour also includes a Prosecco aperitif at Gianicolo, one of the most romantic spots in the capital.

Safety protocols will include measuring temperatures using a contactless device for all passengers and guides. Masks will be provided, and new helmets have been acquired be equipped with a full plexiglass protective visor which, once lowered, will completely cover the whole face, providing complete protection. Equipment such as earphones will be disposable and offered to each guest to keep at the end of the tour.

The Artist For A Day package from Palazzo Naiadi is a further initiative which includes a ceramic, mosaic or painting workshop in artists' workshops. All studios are fully sanitised, including tools and machinery daily, a hand washing, and gel station is at the entrance and everyone who enters must use this before embarking on the experience.

One family at a time will be welcome into the studios and a mask and gloves will be worn by the artists and teachers. Guests will also be provided with a mask and gloves as an optional precaution.
