LATAM’s ‘Stormtrooper Plane’ arrives in Brazil
• The exterior artwork was designed by Disney’s creative team in conjunction with Lucasfilm.

Santiago, Chile – 8th October, 2019 – LATAM Airlines Group’s “Stormtrooper Plane” touched down at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil for the first time today. The aircraft’s livery has been designed to celebrate the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Our customers will now be able to participate in the excitement of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge through our “Stormtrooper Plane”, which will fly to destinations including Orlando, where the new land is based, as well as Miami, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris and London”, said Paulo Miranda, VP Customers, LATAM Airlines Group.
Designed by Disney’s creative team in conjunction with Lucasfilm, the “Stormtrooper Plane” aircraft is a Boeing 777 with capacity for up to 410 passengers. It features LATAM’s new cabin standard with new Premium Business seats with direct aisle access, a renovated Economy cabin and LATAM+ Seats, which offer more space, a dedicated overhead bin, and premium services such as priority boarding.
In addition to travelling on the “Stormtrooper Plane”, LATAM’s customers can enjoy all 10 films of the Star Wars Collection, now available on all aircraft via its onboard entertainment platform, LATAM Play.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the highly anticipated new land inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios, opened to the public in Orlando, Florida on 29th August, 2019.
