Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa Appoints New Spa Manager

As Part of $470,000 Renovation of the Shine Spa for Sheraton™ - Completing in 2019

Marriott is delighted to introduce Magesh Kumar as new Spa Manager of the Shine Spa for Sheraton™ at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. Magesh’s new appointment forms part of a $470,000 renovation of the spa, which is uniquely situated on its own private island and is set to complete in November 2019.

Shine Spa for Sheraton™ Renovation

Currently, the award-winning spa features six treatment villas, a VIP treatment suite, two hydrotherapy pools, two relaxation lounges and separate steam rooms – all of which are being revamped this autumn. The renovation is also introducing a brand new yoga pavilion and the VIP suite is being upgraded to include its own steam room, outside area and relaxation zone.

This refurbishment follows an intensive $20M renovation programme which took place across the resort last year. Designed by boutique multi-disciplinary design practice, Topo Design Studio, the newly transformed resort now exhibits beautiful Maldivian architecture with a contemporary twist reflecting the five-star experience guaranteed at the property.

Emilio Fortini, General Manager for Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, comments: “We are very excited about this renovation and the prospect of a completely new facility to offer our guests. Key upgrades to the spa include a complete refurbishment of all six treatment villas; each one complemented by its own outdoor deck offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean.”
