Sailing Superyacht Vivid Comes to the UK for the Summer Season
diYachting is delighted to announce that its flagship yacht, the newly re-fitted Vivid is setting sail for the UK and will be available to charter from 1st July in time for the summer season. With UK holidays on the rise as travellers look closer to home for that long-awaited summer holiday, Vivid offers the perfect private getaway for families and friends looking to explore the stunning English coastline by luxury yacht.
Sleeping up to six guests, with three crew members, this spacious 88ft. sailing yacht offers an incredible base for a UK adventure with exceptional on-board service including a private chef and personal butler. Available for guests to book from 1st July, travel restrictions dependent, Vivid has put a number of subtle health and safety measures in place to ensure the comfort and safety of its guests aswell as flexible cancellation policies so guests can book with confidence this summer.

On-board VIVID
Following an extensive 2-year re-fit to the highest of standards, guests can expect new sails, completely refurbished interiors and upgraded water sport equipment. A Jongert 2700 model with an aluminium hull and superstructure, Vivid measures 88ft in length with three individually designed guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to six guests. Spread across two decks, Vivid boasts a spacious living area with an L shape sofa on one side and dining table for seven on the other, a main deck saloon offering 360-degree views and sitting up to 10 people, a plunge pool on the recessed deck and an exquisite selection of custom-made marquetry artwork specially commissioned from Saint-Tropez based artist Georges Cabot. Whilst smooth lines of blue and beige define the modern aesthetic, interrupted by bursts of colour, touches of light wood and soft surfaces offer classic comfort.
To complete the offering, Vivid also comes with a selection of watersports equipment guaranteed to keep each individual on board entertained, including x2 paddleboards, wakeboard, two-person towable ringo, snorkelling equipment and a trawling rod and small rods for any fishing enthusiasts. This spacious superyacht is a true globetrotter having sailed around the world twice and offers guests the perfect vessel for an ocean adventure this summer.
Discover the UK – Itinerary
This summer season, guests can expect an unforgettable journey exploring the southern coasts of England on board Vivid. Put the sails up and discover the hidden coves of Cornwall or the magical coastlines of the Solent with Captain Patrick at the helm. Vivid’s itinerary includes:
• July; guest will board Vivid in the Pendennis Marina in Falmouth and from there expeditions include a multitude of options, from day trips to St Mawes, Dartmouth, Exmouth sailing along the stunning River Exe, Poole and Christchurch to overnight excursions to the Scilly Isles, the Channel Islands and beyond.
• August, September, October: guests can expect to board Vivid along The Solent coastline, spanning 241 miles. Drink in the wonders of the Isles of Wight stopping of at Cowes and Yarmouth. Explore Lymington and the River Beaulieu from the comfort of the spacious deck. Possible trips to France later in the summer may also be available, travel restrictions dependent.
On-board Service
Unbeatable service and a champagne reception will welcome guests aboard. Vivid is weighing anchor with a crew of three; husband and wife Captain Patrick Phelan and Chef Sarah Phelan along with private butler Maritza Friis in tow. With 150,000 sea miles under his belt, guests will be in safe hands with Captain Patrick leading the way. Enjoy a gourmet feast of delicious delights cooked by Sarah, who trained at Corden Blue Cookery School The Wirral. From pecan pancakes with warm rum banana maple syrup for breakfast, to a three-course dinner including seared four seeded Ahi Tuna with wasabi cream and warm chocolate lave cakes with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream, guests can experience fine dining like never seen before under the expert hands of Chef Sarah.
