Ikos Resorts is delighted to announce that the award-winning Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, Greece will reopen for the 2020 season on 1st July, welcoming guests in a new world of safety and privacy. Opening dates for Ikos Oceania, Ikos Dassia and Ikos Aria will be announced in the coming weeks, and Ikos Andalusia in Spain will open its doors for the first time on 1st September 2020. Guests at Ikos Olivia can soon enjoy the world’s leading luxury-all inclusive resort once again, confident in the knowledge that stringent measures have been taken to ensure guests’ overall wellbeing and safety through Ikos Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™. The new measures combined with Ikos Resorts’ high-end touches will create a luxury safe haven for those travelling to Greece this summer.


The luxury all-inclusive resort will open on 1st July with Ikos Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™ in place, incorporating best-in-class health and safety measures certified by global leaders in the healthcare field, including Bioiatriki Healthcare Group and EcoLab. Ikos Resorts has gone above and beyond in terms of its hotel operations and disinfection policies to create a safe environment, whilst not compromising on the overall guest experience.


A World of Safety & Exceptional Care with Complete Testing & Medical Support

All staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and will then receive regular molecular diagnostic tests. All guests will be strongly advised to undergo a test 72 hours prior to arrival at the resort and in case of no testing before travel, a complimentary rapid antibody test will be offered upon arrival. At all resort entry points there will be non-invasive touchless temperature measurement devices, on top of round-the-clock medical support across the resort, an in-resort ambulance and the possibility to explore insurance options at time of booking. Meticulous disinfecting technology which meets Ecolab guidelines will also be used throughout the resort and guest rooms, reassuring guests that every health & safety measure has been thought of.

Physical distancing will be actively encouraged and a range of measures will offer a touchless guest journey from the moment guests check in to the hotel all the way through to the end of their holiday. With the upgraded Ikos Resorts Mobile app allowing for digital services and limiting face-to-face interactions, guests will able to enjoy Ikos Olivia’s renowned 24-hour room service fully contactless, make digital restaurant and spa bookings, view the resort’s impressive array of à la carte menus curated by Michelin starred chefs and 300 local and international wines selected by the Ikos Sommelier, fully zero touch. Guests will also be able to contact Ikos Olivia’s staff at all times via Whatsapp, taking Ikos Olivia’s exceptional service levels to new heights.

Guests can relax by the range of outdoor pools, including an adults-only pool and children's paddling pools, safe in the knowledge that all with loungers will be arranged to ensure four metres of separation between groups not travelling together.
