Football Escapes is delighted to announce that Michael Owen and Billy Wingrove will host a half-term family escape at the Parklane Resort & Spa in Limassol, Cyprus, from 24th - 31st October 2020.
Children of all abilities aged between 5 and 15 will have the opportunity to brush up on their ball skills and train alongside former England and Liverpool striker Michael Owen and freestyle footballer and YouTube sensation Billy Wingrove, with two-hour daily sessions spread over a week at the five-star resort.
Owen will share tips and advice from his Premier League days and international career, passing on his signature goal-scoring skills to a new generation of budding footballers, while Wingrove will teach the nifty footwork and tricks that have earned his reputation as one of the UK’s best freestyle footballers. The course will be supported by Football Escapes’ team of UEFA-qualified coaches and will take place within the grounds of the Parklane Resort & Spa's children's area, set across two pitches.
With plenty for families to do both on and off the pitch, Parklane Resort & Spa is the ideal location for a luxurious half-term getaway. Little ones will revel in the chance to play at the ‘Park Kidz’ area, complete with a pirate ship, castle and water slide, while parents will be spoilt for choice with five world-class restaurants and a state-of-the-art spa and fitness centre. Each Football Escapes course is led by an ex-Premier league player and supported by a great team of UEFA licensed coaches, all of whom come from renowned English Premier League clubs. Each child that enrols on the course will be provided with a full kit including; a shirt, shorts and socks, as well as a signed certificate and medal on completion of the week's course.
