Luxury Boutique Residence, The Sarojin, launches new 'Sarojin Cares Honeymoon' package for 2021

Thailand’s luxurious 56-roomed boutique residence, The Sarojin, has launched a brand new package for couples wanting a honeymoon that goes beyond romance and gives back to the local community during their visit. Perfect for those looking to travel with a conscience and make their special holiday even more memorable, the ‘Sarojin Cares Honeymoon’ package combines some of The Sarojin’s most popular romantic activities with unforgettable and rewarding excursions that benefit those most in need around the resort.

From THB 79,543 (approx. £1,988) for bookings between 04 May and 24 October 2021, couples can enjoy a 7-night break in a Garden Residence alongside a Street Food, Cook For Kids cooking class at the local Camillian Social Centre, a Little Amazon Canoeing & Mangrove Planting excursion, a ‘Just for Two’ Private Dining experience on a candlelit beach, a 90-minute spa Royal Oriental treatment each, a local Buddhist Blessing of Love, all day a la carte breakfast served until 6pm with sparkling wine and private transfers to/from Phuket International Airport.

What’s more, to share the love even further, guests can opt in to join The Sarojin team on their regular ‘Sarojin Cares’ volunteer days in the local community or take part in the resort's ongoing beach cleaning activities. A complimentary Garden Tour is also offered to those wanting to learn about Khao Lak’s local wildlife, where guests can experience hand-feeding bananas to the resort's endearing resident squirrels.

Guests can begin their stay with a couple’s cooking class at the local Camillian Social Centre, which cares for disabled children. The Street Food, Cook For Kids experience sees loved ones working together to create a delicious Thai feast to share with the children, under the expert guidance of The Sarojin’s Executive Chef Gogh. The excursion includes a visit to a local food market and is a truly rewarding experience that is both loved by the children and provides vital interaction and support for the centre.

Back at the resort, for restoration of body and mind, the package includes a relaxing 90-minute spa Royal Oriental treatment each at The Sarojin’s Pathways Spa. A secluded haven surrounded by coconut groves and lush greenery, the spa’s indoor treatment rooms and open-air pavilions are an ideal retreat for those wanting to indulge in some post-wedding rejuvenation.

Couples will also be treated to a memorable sunrise Spiritual Blessing of Love from a Thai Buddhist monk at a local temple as part of the package. During the ceremony, which is held as the sun is rising in the sky, the monk gently pours holy water over the guests while chanting ancient mantras to cleanse the spirit - an ideal start to marital life.

As part of the package, couples can also enjoy a Little Amazon Canoeing & Mangrove Planting excursion, taking to the waters around Khao Lak by canoe to explore and help replant the vital mangrove habitat in the local area whilst taking in the breath-taking coastal views of Khao Lak. Much of the mangrove system was damaged in the 2004 tsunami and ongoing repairs are still needed, which this excursion contributes to.

Back on land and to end their stay with an idyllic sunset dinner, couples can indulge in a ‘Just for Two’ Private Dining Experience on The Sarojin’s stunning 11k stretch of secluded white sand beach. Intimate romance is guaranteed as guests are treated to their very own beach BBQ while admiring the picturesque backdrop of the sea. As night falls, the beach is illuminated by candles so guests can sit back and relax under the moonlight.

At the resort there’s plenty more for couples to experience with a whole host of additional complimentary activities. Mountain bikes are available for complimentary hire for those wanting to venture out into the local area on two wheels and sailing catamarans, sail boats, sea kayaks and windsurfing boards are also free for guests to use. For avid readers, the resort has a complimentary Press-Reader app and high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout its grounds, allowing guests to browse at their leisure.

The ‘Sarojin Cares Honeymoon’ package is based on a rate for two adults sharing a Garden Residence for seven nights between 04 May and 24 October 2021, inclusive of activities listed. Prices vary depending on the date of stay. Upgrades to a Pool Residence or Jacuzzi Pool Suite are available at an additional cost.

Bookings must be guaranteed by credit card. Cancellations made three days or less prior to arrival date are subject to one night’s room charge. If travel to Thailand/ The Sarojin is prohibited or early check-out is required due to relevant governments’ advisory notification then options for refund or rebookings are applicable.
